Kennesaw, GA (May 29, 2019) – In response to demand from souvenir and resort retailers seeking new gourmet product resources, the 54th edition of the Smoky Mountain Gift Show welcomes the new “Flavors of the South” Gourmet feature to the show floor of the November 6-9, 2019 edition at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Targeting emerging companies and regional resources, the new showcase will feature smaller, tabletop displays which will join Tennessee’s largest selection of top-name souvenir and resort gift lines under one roof.
“Our new tabletop gourmet showcase offers a cost-effective way for the gourmet category’s emerging leaders and regional resources to try a wholesale marketplace while also giving souvenir/resort retailers access to brand new resources they’re looking for,” says Christina Bell, Show Director, Smoky Mountain Gift Show.
The inaugural Flavors of the South special section will feature tabletop displays from various vendors offering gourmet selections such as sweets, treats, spices, oils and other gourmet specialties. With limited availability, this new section is expected to feature a number of new exhibitors, plus many more throughout the show floor.

Show Floor Hospitality & Daily Giveaways
Retailers can enjoy a fun and refreshment-filled show floor, taking advantage of morning coffee and pastries and afternoon beer, wine and cheese. Daily giveaways include gift basket raffles, goody bag giveaways and $100-$1000 cash prize giveaways.
Money-Saving Specials
Retailers can pre-register and attend the 2019 Smoky Mountain Gift Show and automatically enter into a drawing for a chance to win an all-inclusive Gatlinburg Attraction VIP Pass, courtesy of the Gatlinburg Convention & Visitors Bureau. In addition, November’s other various money-saving initiatives include free parking, complimentary shuttle service and exclusive show specials during the event.
Networking Events & Curated Buying Tours
Throughout the show, Zoo & Aquarium Buyers Group (ZAG) will host Made in America and brand new Zootique Buying Tours, where attending retailers and ZAG members will visit vendors on the show floor and learn tips and strategies to merchandise and sell these themed products.
