Know Before You Go – Safety Guidelines 

We’re excited to welcome you to the 2020 Smoky Mountain Gift Show. As you prepare to visit, please know that we’ve made some updates to follow the guidelines issued by the CDC, state and local officials. Ensuring the safety of all exhibitors, attendees and staff at our events is our top priority and we’ve developed a full health and safety plan – our We’ve Got You Covered Safety Promise. Additionally, we are working with our travel partners, venues, hotels and the Gatlinburg Convention Center to protect your health and provide you with a safe and productive environment for you to conduct business.

We've Got You Covered Safety Promise

Learn more about the measures being taken at the show to keep our gift and souvenir family safe
 
1. CDC approved facial coverings will be required of all attendees and exhibitors and staff. 
2. Each attendee, exhibitor and staff member will be required to pass a temperature check for entry each day and agree they are symptom free and are not awaiting any COVID-19 test results.
3. The convention center, which is in the process of becoming GBAC Gold Star Certified, as well as our vendors will provide enhanced and regular cleaning protocols. There will be easy access to sanitizers for attendees, exhibitors, staff.
4. We have modified and changed our hospitality offerings this year to allow for adequate social distancing. 
5. Health, safety and social distancing signs will be located throughout the convention center from point of entry. 
 

WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED SAFETY PROMISE

In addition, please be aware of our Show Policies: 

1. This show is open to trade only. New stores and/or buyers attending for the first time should be prepared to present the following to gain admission: 1 form of personal ID and 2 forms of business ID, which can include business card; company credit card; company check; paycheck stub; tax ID number; company insurance card; company buyer's club card; business invoice. (Please note: 1 form of personal ID and 1 form of business ID is required for each additional employee.) 

2. Attendee/Exhibitor expressly assumes and releases Clarion Events, Inc., any affiliates, employees, agents, sub-contractors, and third parties from, all risks, claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, whether or not reasonably foreseeable, associated with, resulting from or arising in connection with Attendee/Exhibitor’s participation or presence at the Event, including, without limitation, all risks of harm, damage, illness (including viruses or illness from any communicable disease) or injury (including death) to or related to Attendee and his or her person or property. 

3. Attendee/Exhibitor expressly agrees to fully comply with appropriate COVID-19 health and safety measures and protocols for attendance at the event, including the requirement to wear face masks at all times, maintain appropriate social distance and comply with directions of any security personal tasked with upholding COVID-19 health and safety measures. If needed, Clarion Events, Inc. will have face masks available for those attendees who do not bring their own to the event. Face Shields will be made available for those attendees who have medical conditions and cannot wear a face mask. However, it is encouraged that all attendees bring their own face masks or face shields. Clarion Events, Inc. reserves the right to remove any Attendee/Exhibitor from the event for failure to adhere to the required COVID-19 health and safety measures and protocols for attendance at the event. 

4. Children 14 and under as well as strollers are strongly discouraged. 

5. The photography of any exhibit is expressly prohibited without the written consent of the exhibitor.
